This is part of the “Women’s Voices: Breaking the Silence” series. Festival Recital Series Celebrating the Restoration of Trinity's E.M. Skinner Pipe OrganCome join us in the acoustic splendor of historic Trinity Church to celebrate the restoration of Ernest M. Skinner's masterpiece, opus 477. Built in 1924, at the height of Skinner's creative period, its four manuals and pedals contain over 4000 pipes, representing many of the signature symphonic stops perfected by Skinner. This loving restoration has been carried out by noted Bay Area Skinner specialist Edward Millington Stout III and Company. Ed and his assistant, Richard Taylor, have overseen a team of highly skilled artisans and searched for the finest materials to ensure the integrity of this exceptional instrument for many years to come.
